Community Pop-Up Thrift Boutique

Give-N-Receive, which is committed to addressing clothing insecurity, will setup their pop-up thrift boutique at the Oak Park Public Library from 12-3 p.m. Bring in clean clothing or accessories, and shop the clothing racks. Everything is free. (More details here.)

Melrose Park’s Annual Christmas Lights Parade
6 p.m. | Melrose Park Civic Center
The parade in Melrose Park is a special part of the community’s holiday season. Bring a chair and a hot beverage, and sit along the parade route. There will be Christmas music and a visit from Santa Claus (of course). (More details here.)
Regular School Board Meeting

It’s the last monthly Board of Education meeting of the year. To ensure transparency, the Elmwood Park Advocate will post a video recording of the meeting the following day.
Give To The Elmwood Park Community Church’s Food Pantry & Clothing Closet
Donate to the Elmwood Park Community Church’s food pantry or the clothing closet. They have asked for winter coats. Donate on Saturdays between 8 a.m and noon or leave donations at the front door of the church. (You can also give funds here.)
