Our Favorite Halloween Decorated Houses In Elmwood Park
Elmwood Park goes all out for Halloween—and we love it!
As the sun sets earlier and walks turn cooler, our neighbors are lending a spooky light to October evenings.
Yes, Halloween is more expensive each year—costumes, decorations, chocolate and other candy for trick-or-treaters. But we love seeing wonderfully decorated homes with custom lighting and elaborate decorations to scare and surprise.
Walk down any street in the village. What you see are ghosts, ghouls, skeletons, pumpkins, and clowns outside of many homes. Displays that incorporate the frightening and weird make Elmwood Park feel even more like a welcoming community.
The Elmwood Park Advocate compiled a guide to local Halloween decorated houses in the village—ten on the north side, and ten on the south side. But this is by no means an exhaustive collection.
After you grab a flashlight and warm drink while seeing these homes, take some time to wander around the neighborhood and see many of the other spooky displays.
