This Week's Featured Events In Elmwood Park [October 13-18]
Library Director Michael Consiglio and Library Board of Trustees are holding their monthly board meeting. They received “several emails” in response to a meeting room policy proposal and the director’s decision to charge residents for meeting room use.
We do not know what Consiglio, Library Board President Chris Pesko, and other trustees will have to say. However, we’ll be there to stand up for the newsletter’s rights, and the rights of all residents, to access the public library, and we invite those of you to attend and show your support at 5 p.m. on October 13.
Here are some other events happening in Elmwood Park and nearby communities during the upcoming week.
If you know of a future event that the newsletter should feature in our next roundup, submit event details to newsletter@elmwoodparkadvocate.org
