Trivia Night
7 p.m. | Elmwood Park Public Library
The library hosts another night of trivia in the Ferrentino Room. Bring a team, or form one when you get there.
Wednesday, October 1
Crafts or Crochet (Josie’s Room Activities)
10:30 a.m. | Elmwood Park Village Hall
Start the month off right and help make a mat for unhoused people. (Important: Call SK 708-452-3936 if you plan to attend.)
School Board Meeting: Committee of the Whole
5:30 p.m. | Elmwood Park High School Room 193
The superintendent and school board members will present updates related to the electronic hall pass system and use of school facilities. There will also be a special meeting, where the school board enters an executive session that is not open to the public in order to address a “student disciplinary matter.” [Agenda here.]

Bingo (Josie’s Room Activities)
10:30 a.m. | Elmwood Park Village Hall
It’s Bingo at the village hall. Play in person or virtually via Zoom. Doors open at 9:30 a.m, if you like to be early for Bingo. (Important: Call SK 708-452-3936 if you plan to attend.)
Friday, October 3
Pleasant Street Festival
5 p.m. | Oak Park
For the last “First Friday” event of the year, come spend an evening in one of the many restaurants, cafes, or sweet spots that this part of Oak Park has to offer. There will be live music, local vendors, and family fun.
Saturday, October 4
Fall Flannel Fest
2 p.m. | River Front Park and Gazebo
The Village of River Grove will have food, treats, hot chocolate, and boba tea. There will be a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and inflatables from 2-5 p.m. Later in the evening, the fest will feature music and the Mayor’s renowned Stein Hoisting contest.
