Disability Pride Month Crafts
1 p.m. | Elmwood Park Public Library
Adults and children (with their parents or guardians) are invited to celebrate Disability Pride Month and paint wooden hearts that are the colors of the Disability Pride Flag. Ice cream will also be served.
Trivia Night
7 p.m. | Elmwood Park Public Library
The library will hosts a night of trivia. Invite friends. Each team will have up to 6 people. There are prizes for the winners.
Wednesday, July 30
Pop-Up Park Storytime
12:30 p.m. | Central Park
Sponsored by the Elmwood Park Public Library, bring your kids to Central Park for storytime. There’ll be snacks, music, and games (weather permitting). Ages 0-7 must have a caregiver.
National Night Out
5 p.m. | Central Park
The Elmwod Park Police Department and Neighborhood Watch will hold a night of family fun. At this year’s Night Out, kids are invited to show off their Power Wheels, wagons, push cars, and “other cool rides.”
Summer Sounds ‘25 Concert
7 p.m. | Dominican University in River Forest
Los Gallos, Chicago’s premier Mexi-Americana Roots band, performs a set with Latin and American vibes that blend blues, country, and rock n’ roll.
Friday, August 1
First Fridays: Madison Street Festival
5-9 p.m. | Oak Park
Enjoy live music and food and see the bustling corridor of Madison Street in Oak Park. It’s a part of “First Fridays,” which are free and open to the public.
Saturday, August 2
Pond Dip Discovery
10:30 a.m. | Trailside Museum of Natural History
Come to the Thatcher Glen Pond, dip a net in the water, and discover what lives on or below the surface. For ages 5-12 with an adult.
This is How We Roll
10:15 a.m. | Elmwood Parks & Recreation
Roller skating is back! Free event at 2 Conti Parkway, but you must bring your own roller skates or roller blades.

Yoga In The Park

Sponsored by The Barre Studio + Cafe at Central Park, this is part of a series of free yoga sessions held every Sunday morning. (Bring your own mat.)
