Beautiful pics! Funny enough, blue vervain and common milkweed are named as "weeds" in the EP village code. I only know this because we received a citation for weeds and needed to investigate 🙃
Elmwood Park does not have professional arborists or landscape managers on staff. Look what they wasted money on with their plantings on Bloomingdale. The thinking for environment is suburban 1950s style. I have yet to see a native plant in the community planted by the village.
Pictures are great I have lots of those plants growing in the back yard!
