Insect Fest

The Forest Preserves of Cook County offers a bug hunt, insect petting zoo, and a chance to explore bugs through music and yoga.
Movie In The Park

It’s the last “Movie In the Park” for the summer. The Village of Elmwood Park screens Disney/Pixar’s “Elemental” at dusk. (Don Shanahan previewed the event for subscribers.)

Guitar Jam Session

For adults and teens who are 16 or older. The library invites you to bring your guitar to a jam session in the library’s Gaming Lounge.

GPS Mystery Adventure

In River Forest, come solve a “fowl” murder mystery with handheld GPS units. Sponsored by the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Adults and ages 10-17 with an adult are welcome.
